It looks intimidating at first but it is not difficult at all. It has many features to make sure that your precious little one is secure and safe. It even has a level device on the car seat itself to ensure that the seat is leveled in your car and offers tips on how to level the car seat.
It comes with very detailed instructions that you can't lose because they attach it to the car seat. Also, it came with an additional foam piece (easy to install/remove) for infants so that the baby is more comfortable and not slouched in the seat like other car seats.
I purchased a Britax a few years ago for my son, which I used from when he was 9 months until he turned 5. For both of my children I intensely researched the car seats and found that no other car seat (infant or otherwise) outbeat Britax.
I love the brand and the safety features which is my primary concern with car seats. It also fits into the Graco Car Seat Infant Stroller Frame.
If you are skeptical about paying a high price, you pay the price for the safety features, which no other brand offers.

This was bought for my 2nd Grandson. It is an excellent car seat. It has excellent padding. It is easy to install and the harness system is first rate.
My only criticism is that the weight of this car seat is too heavy for new mothers. (and for grandmothers)
